POISON SMART!
Poison Safety

A poison is anything that can make you sick or kill you if you eat it, breathe it, or get it in your eyes or on your skin.  This includes medicines, household chemicals, garden chemicals, gasoline, lead and more.

Teach your children this jingle:
'Don't Touch
Don't Taste
Ask First'

Contact the Safe Kids Office at
912 665-8385 for information on children's activities in the class room setting that include a 'medicine look-alike' game.

For poison emergencies call the Georgia Poison Center at
1-800-222-1222

For information on lead poisoning call 912 353-5161 at the Chatham County Health Department
