Car seat Safety

Car crashes are the number one reason for injury death.  Children can be very well protected if parents will correctly install a car seat that is the correct seat for a child's weight and age. 

Safe Kids Savannah operates an inspection station every Wednesday in Oglethorpe Office Park on Mall Blvd at Building 420.   Parents may visit to have their car seat installations checked.  Call for an appointment at 912 353-3148.

Public Car seat Check Events are held quarterly. See events calendar.

Educational opportunities include awareness presentations, parent classes and Child Passenger Technician Certification.

We are available at 912 353-3148 to answer questions regarding child occupant safety.
