Car seat Safety

Car crashes are the number one reason for injury death.  Children can be very well protected if parents will correctly install a car seat that is the correct seat for a child's weight and age. 

Safe Kids Savannah operates an inspection station.   Parents may visit to have their car seat installations checked.  Call for an appointment at 912 665-8385.

Public Car seat Check Events are held quarterly. See events calendar.

Educational opportunities include awareness presentations, parent classes and Child Passenger Technician Certification.
